Health and Wellness Coaching Programs Tailored to Your Needs...
General Health Coaching – After completing the Online Wellness Portal Assessment, it is a great idea for participants to consult with our team of health professionals in a one-on-one coaching session. The Assessment provides a 14-page Personal Wellness Report; while the Report provides instructions for implementing change, a health coach can assist with synchronizing this information into a real-life applicable action plan.
Our health coaches work with participants to identify health risks, as well as establish goals, benchmarks, and timelines. Together we create a unique blue-print for achieving those goals. This one-on-one contact effectively allows participants to engage in their health plan and with an optimistic mind-set, and poised for success.
Diet & Nutrition Coaching – Nutrition is fundamental to great health. The foods you eat provide fuel for your body. Proper nutrition assists with preventing disease, increasing the rate of healing, and provides your body with the proper nutrients needed to survive and live well. The nutrients you consume each day are your body’s source of raw materials. A shortage of any nutrient can shut down the “assembly lines” that are your body’s biochemical pathways.
Each person’s body has unique needs called bio-individuality. Nutritional testing is a snap-shot in time, revealing your body’s unique needs by combining information about digestion, vitamin and mineral deficiency, as well as cell and organ function/dys-function.
Our Nutrition Coaching can set you on a path towards optimal health. Nutritional recommendations are tailored to your specific need. We customize your diet, vitamins, minerals and amino acids to fit your body’s unique metabolic needs. This optimizes your wellness, prevents dysfunction and disease, and may reverse the cellular and metabolic aging process. Optimal nutrition helps us move positively toward peak performance, with fewer illnesses, more resilience, and more vitality.
Working with our Nutrition Coach, together you will analyze your past and current eating behaviors, use a daily food journal, create dietary/nutritional goals and an action plan. We help develop strategies for you to stay committed to your goals of establishing better eating habits, a regular dietary food consumption, resulting in obtaining your optimum weight and health.
Fitness Coaching – In a workplace environment, a lifestyle of exercise and healthy eating is all the more important. If companies create programs to keep their employees healthy and happy, the individual productivity of their employees will increase exponentially, while reducing their health care costs and rates of absenteeism.
Our team of professionals can work one-on-one with participants to create a fitness program to meet their specific needs, schedule and level of ability. One-on-one fitness coaching offers direction, education, inspiration and support every step of the way. Coupled with the Online Wellness Portal Healthy Activity Tracker, participants have all the tools needed to achieve their objectives in fitness.
Participants select either a weight management or physical activity focus and then indicate their experience level. Then we create a multi-week curriculum designed to provide education, goal-setting guidance, personalized feedback, and suggestions for how to leverage friends and colleagues for social support. Together, these components increase exercise and weight loss outcomes, thus improving the overall health of employee populations, enhancing corporate culture, and reducing health care costs.
As an extension to the Onsite Spinal Screening, we offer an internet-based home exercise plan for participants.
Executive Health Coaching - Executive health coaching is used to increase the productivity and effectiveness of highly compensated and extremely busy individuals. Part of the challenge is helping executives reduce or eliminate health risk factors. Up to now, following executive physical exams and routine health checks, executives were left on their own. Now, executives can work over the internet and/or telephone with their personal fitness coach. This program is tailored to the demands of the executive life and is staffed by seasoned former executives who provide the highest quality executive health coaching available.
Health and Wellness Coaching Programs
Onsite Health Coaching is available as a stand-alone service or part of your Discovering Optimal Performance Employee Wellness Program. If your organization chooses not to include this service as part of the program, participants have the option to take advantage of this as an elective service by scheduling a coaching session at our local clinic.
